Sutton Park House is a mixed-use development comprising 149 apartments alongside approximately 22,100 sq ft of commercial space.

As part of the commercial offering, the property developer wanted to provide future occupiers with access to private meeting and focus spaces while maintaining the flexibility of the floorplates and avoiding the cost and permanence associated with traditional construction.

Enclosed meeting pods

Fluid was appointed to provide furniture consultancy and procurement services, developing a solution centred around enclosed meeting pods that could deliver private environments without building permanent meeting rooms.

The pods were carefully integrated throughout the commercial space to provide a variety of environments for meetings, focused work and confidential conversations, enhancing the functionality and attractiveness of the building for prospective tenants.

Flexible floorplates for future tenants

By using freestanding meeting pods rather than traditional construction methods, the development benefits from greater flexibility, allowing spaces to adapt as occupier requirements evolve over time.

The completed solution creates a more appealing commercial environment that supports modern ways of working while providing landlords and future tenants with greater flexibility and significantly reduced disruption compared with permanent construction.
