Fluid worked alongside design and build partner Zentura to refurbish Red Consultancy’s Soho offices, delivering a furniture consultancy and procurement package designed to create a more collaborative and engaging workspace.
The redesigned office consolidates operations from three floors into two while introducing flexible collaboration spaces that encourage employees to spend more time in the office.
The Project: Transforming A Characterful Space Into A Collaborative Workplace
Red Consultancy’s London office is located within a renovated boxing gym in the heart of Soho. The company wanted to refresh the workspace to better support collaboration while also encouraging their teams to return to the office.
At the same time, the redesign needed to consolidate the office footprint from three floors to two without compromising the quality of the workplace environment.
Working alongside Zentura, Fluid delivered the furniture consultancy and procurement package for the project.
To maximise the available budget, many of the existing furniture pieces were retained and integrated into the new design wherever possible. Additional breakout furniture and collaboration tables were introduced to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere throughout the office.
The redesigned workspace focuses on providing a variety of areas for both collaboration and informal interaction, encouraging employees to move around the office rather than remain in one place throughout the day.
One of the most distinctive features of the office is the staff lounge and bar area. This vibrant space combines comfortable furniture with an abundance of biophilia to create a relaxing environment within the busy workplace.
The lounge has quickly become a social hub for the team, supporting informal meetings, collaboration and everyday interactions between colleagues.
The completed office now provides Red Consultancy with a welcoming and flexible workspace that supports collaboration while making better use of their office footprint.
