Modern Slavery Statement ORGANISATION This statement applies to Hansbury Group Ltd T/A Fluid Furniture (referred to as ‘the Organisation’). ORGANISATIONAL STRUCTURE Hansbury Group Ltd T/A Fluid Furniture specialises in providing furniture solutions for workplace environments. The company operates across the UK, supplying products such as office desks, chairs, tables, acoustic pods & booths. DEFINITIONS The Organisation defines modern slavery to include: Human trafficking Forced labour under threat Being controlled or owned through abuse Dehumanisation or being treated as property Physical constraints or restricted movement. COMMITMENT Fluid Furniture is committed to complying with the Modern Slavery Act 2015. The Organisation understands that this requires ongoing review of its internal practices and supply chains to prevent modern slavery. The Organisation does not engage in business with any entity in the UK or abroad that supports or is involved in slavery, servitude, or forced labour. It adheres to the minimum standards required under UK employment legislation. SUPPLY CHAINS To fulfil its operations, the Organisation’s supply chains include suppliers of materials and components for furniture manufacturing, with a focus on sustainability and ethical sourcing. POTENTIAL EXPOSURE The Organisation considers its primary risk of exposure to modern slavery within tier 2 suppliers, potentially involving: Labour-hire contractors without ethical recruitment practices. Poor working conditions and bonded labour in manufacturing facilities. Risks in shipping and transportation of high-risk materials. Despite the relatively low risk, Fluid Furniture has taken measures to ensure such practices do not occur within its business or supply chains. IMPACT OF COVID-19 The COVID-19 pandemic did not increase the Organisation’s risk of modern slavery. The Organisation maintained consistent monitoring procedures during the pandemic, despite reduced operational demand. STEPS Fluid Furniture conducts due diligence to ensure that modern slavery does not occur in its organisation or supply chains, including: Reviewing supplier contracts for termination clauses related to modern slavery. Assessing potential risks in supply chains and supplier policies on modern slavery. Creating action plans to address modern slavery risks and implementing a zero-tolerance policy. KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS The Organisation uses the following KPIs to measure its effectiveness in preventing modern slavery: Incident Reporting Rate Supply Chain Audits Compliance Rate Training Completion Rate Risk Assessment Coverage Financial Impact Assessment POLICIES Fluid Furniture has policies including: Supplier Code of Conduct Due Diligence Procedures Whistleblower Protection Policy Human Rights Policy Recruitment and Employment Policy Training and Awareness Program Supply Chain Transparency Policy Remediation and Grievance Mechanism TRAINING The Organisation provides training to all employees on modern slavery awareness and prevention, ensuring they understand their rights and the importance of ethical sourcing. SLAVERY COMPLIANCE OFFICER The Organisation has appointed a Slavery Compliance Officer to address concerns related to modern slavery and to take necessary actions in accordance with the Organisation’s obligations. This statement is made in pursuance of Section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and will be reviewed annually.
