Following an initial collaboration to explore workspace enhancements at their previous office, we were appointed to support the transition to SEGA’s new London headquarters at Chiswick Park – delivering a full consultancy, product trial, procurement, and relocation service.

The Project

SEGA, one of the world’s most recognised entertainment brands, approached us in the lead-up to relocating their UK head office. With a move to Chiswick Park on the horizon, they were looking to modernise their workplace strategy and create a more dynamic, flexible environment for their teams. A key part of this transformation was the introduction of private meeting and focus spaces that would complement an open-plan layout and support hybrid collaboration.  SEGA needed a solution that was not only functional and futureproof, but also aligned with their unique design identity.

SEGA’s existing office setup lacked sufficient private meeting areas, which was becoming a challenge as the business embraced more hybrid and in-person collaboration. Rather than jumping into a fixed solution, the SEGA team sought guidance on how best to integrate acoustic meeting pods into their workplace.  We began by delivering a consultative service, working closely with their internal project leads to understand their spatial constraints, design aspirations, and employee feedback. From this, we curated a shortlist of meeting pod options, taking into account acoustics, ventilation, technology integration, and visual appeal.

To help SEGA make an informed choice, we introduced them to our FluidSpace Flex rental service – an ideal solution for businesses wanting to trial products in a live environment before making a long-term investment. SEGA rented a selection of Hush meeting pods, which were installed in their existing workspace to test real-world usage and employee satisfaction.  The trial proved to be a success. SEGA’s teams were able to experience the benefits of enhanced focus, privacy, and comfort first-hand, and gather practical feedback on which configurations worked best. This hands-on insight gave them full confidence in moving forward with a broader deployment of meeting pods as part of their relocation.

When the time came for the move to Chiswick Park, SEGA asked us to support both the relocation of their rental pods and the procurement of additional units for their new headquarters. This included a combination of single-occupant pods for calls and focused work, as well as larger collaborative pods suitable for group meetings and hybrid conferencing.

Our team managed the logistics of the relocation, working to tight timescales and coordinating with the broader fit-out team to ensure a smooth transition. The new pods were selected to match SEGA’s brand and design aesthetic, contributing to a vibrant and functional workplace that supports a range of workstyles.

 

Our partnership with SEGA reflects the value of a flexible and consultative approach to workspace planning. By taking the time to understand their evolving needs and enabling a real-world trial, we helped SEGA confidently invest in solutions that will support their people and culture for years to come.  The end result is a modern, agile workspace that balances creativity and productivity – exactly what you’d expect from one of the most iconic names in entertainment.
